Some Line Advice
We're all going to be waiting in line for one reason or another. Maybe it's a panel. Maybe it's a signing. Maybe it's a long line for exclusives. There are a few things that can make your life, and the lives of those around you, a little easier.
1. If You're Solo
Yes, some people come to Comic-Con solo. If you're one of them and you're worried about waiting in line, don't. You'll have no problem starting a conversation around you. If you're worried about someone saving your spot while you run to the restroom, relax. 99% of the people around you will have no issues watching your spot for you. Just be sure to say something before running off.
2. Holding A Spot
We're not talking about a spot for 10 other people. If you're holding a spot for anoth…

Firefly Panel
We had the opportunity to attend a press conference for Firefly, and heard from the cast about their love for their characters and each other. This hour- long special will include interviews with the cast and crew, exclusive footage from the Comic-Con 10-year anniversary panel, and will give fans an inside look at the series they've loved for so long.
Seeing the cast together was an amazing moment for those of us in attendance. We are all huge Firefly and Serenity fans, so not geeking out was a bit of a trial. The cast was super sweet and there were many laughs at the expense of themselv…
Partying with Dexter
In order to adequately cover the Dexter panel, Eric Moro and the Wikia crew sent myself and my plus one over to the Thursday night after-panel party!
I was so glad to be able to attend the panel first, as it gave me a chance to see not only what they had worked out for the Dexter 2 video game, but also what the head writers look like and 5 full minutes of Season 7!
Recognizing the writers was ultimately very helpful as I was able to pull them aside at the party and thank them for their wonderful work. Incidentally, ALL of the writers were standing together, and I was able to thank them all together at the same time. Truly an incredibly talented and imaginative group of people, and I can't wait to see what they cook up this time!
The party i…

Breaking Bad Interview
The cast and crew of Breaking Bad had some really exciting things to say about Season 5, which premieres tomorrow night and will consist of eight episodes. Actor Dean Norris, who plays Hank, said he was thrilled to be out of bed for so long in Season 4. He said playing bedridden for so long actually affected him personally- got his spirits down. And now, in Season 5, he's busted the cartel and feels vindicated. And it's time to really settle things between him and Walt. With regards to their storyline, Hank said that "Vince is not going to shy away from that. It will be the last big arc to be dealt with. The final confrontation." Dean commented that the reason Hank hasn't caught Walt yet is because he's so close to him and can't fathom tha…
The Clone Wars Panel
Hey Guys,
I attended the Clone Wars panel today which featured supervising director Dave Filoni and writer Matt Michnvetz (who is also a writer on the video game Star Wars 1313). They were both super excited about Season 5. Matt went so far as to say it's the "best season yet!" The first thing they did was show some clips from season 4 that will be included in the Blu-ray release- never before seen render comparison footage of the hunt for and then the arrest of Pong Krell. It's hard to view the split screens at the same time, so watching it at home will give you the advantage of pausing and multiple viewing. They also unveiled a crucial scene from Season 5- in which Obi-Wan Kenobi and Bo-Katan flee Mandalorians. As they run for their lives…
Walking Dead Interview
Last week you guys posed questions you wanted answered by the cast and crew of The Walking Dead at Comic-Con. I had the chance to meet with some of the them today and here are some highlights from what they had to say about Season 3!
Executive Producer and Showrunner Glen Mazzara talked about how excited he was about the new season. "We really hit the ground running. The intensity from the end of Season 2 is kinda the launching point and we just have a really, really great, tight story this season." He was a bit reluctant to give away any specifics about the plot and how it may or may not be different from the comics. He was willing to divulge only in general terms. "The first two seasons is about looking for safe havens. But the farm was j…

Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn Trailer
The San Diego Comic-Con is in full swing right now, and along with the crazy amount of film, television, and comic news comes sneak peeks and announcements related to all things video games. Today, 343 Studios debuted the trailer for the upcoming Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn original series.
The series follows a group of soldiers in training, but does in fact feature Master Chief. It looks and feels similar to some of the live-action trailers the Halo series has aired in the past. I am a huge fan of those trailers and I am thrilled to see such a high-quality approach to translating the Halo 4 lore into a live-action series.
Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think of the trailer in the comments below. For more information…

Game of Thrones Comic Con Posters Revealed
Game of Thrones will be at Comic-Con soon--and those folks who attend are going to want to have something to show for it! Luckily, it seems that Game of Thrones will be giving out fantastic black-and-white posters to Comic-Con attendees.
The poster shows some pivotal characters in the story: Robb Stark, Daenerys, Stannis Baratheon, Cersei Lannister, Tyrion Lannister and Joffrey Baratheon. By the way, how happy are we that Joffrey is shown to be smaller than "The Imp"? His Grace would certainly be enraged if he saw this poster!
On the bottom half of the poster, we see mountain lions and a direwolf attacking a stag, which might be representative of the accident which gave way to the direwolves of the Stark children, or more likely, a metaphor fo…
New Hobbit Comic Con Treat
This weekend, Peter Jackson, the man behind The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has revealed the latest goodie for Lord of the Rings fans at Comic-Con: the new Hobbit poster! And if you attend Comic-Con, you can get your hands on it this Thursday. It's the only thing better than capturing the ring! Okay, no. But close!
The poster shows Gandolf embarking on what looks like an unexpected journey of sorts, which works well with the film's title. Strangely, no Martin Freeman, but surely we will see him in other promo images to come.
The Hobbit will be in theaters this December 14. Will you be in attendance? And will you be coming to Comic-Con? Comment below and tell us!

The Scroll from The Hobbit: Unexpected Journey
The visual aspects of Lord of the Rings films are always tip-top, so it comes as no surprise that this awesome visual art scroll is nothing short of stunning. It shows ten scenes from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, and you can use the magnifier to scroll over each scene to get a closer look. No worries though, it shouldn't spoil any of the film for you!
In Comic-Con news, The Hobbit will be at Comic-Con on Thursday--will you be going?

Walking Dead Season 3 Poster
So...what do we know about Season 3 of The Walking Dead? We know there will be a prison, zombies to go along with it, and a sinister figure called The Governor. But now, we get to go a step farther. Feast your eyes on the Season 3 promo poster!
The poster clearly shows The Governor, as played by British actor David Morrissey. In addition, we get to catch a glimpse of katana sword warrior Michonne, played by Danai Gurira.
Showrunner Glen Mazzara also has something to say about Season 3 which leads us to believe it could be an even scarier and action-packed season: “The entire landscape has fallen to zombies,” says Mazzara, “The entire world has collapsed, the apocalypse has taken over, the zombies have taken over, there’s no safe place. And …
